Jordan Lou is Team 6643's Captain of Scouting. Together with partner Sarah Frickensmith, Jordan is tasked with the team's scouting information acquisition and organization during competition season. This includes instructing the entire committee on their roles, working with developers to create a functional technological application for the organization of scouting information, and relaying the information to the appropriate people. Previous to his election as Captain of Records, Jordan served as a general member, providing general support at the competition, as well as helping in Pit. Jordan has worked with Nolan Tremelling to develop an app for scouting.
The Captain of Scouting's main responsibilities take place at the competition and during the final weeks of competition lead-up. As head of the Scouting Committee, the Captain must organize all of the team's scouting efforts and ensure they are implemented with efficiency and accuracy. The Captain must also represent their committee in all capacities to both the Team Captainship and other Committee Captains. The captain, along with all other leadership members, is elected each April 1st during in the full post-competition vote. The captain reports directly to the Team Captainship.
