EXPERIENCE
Morgan Patch is the team's second Team Captain, serving alongside partner Nolan Tremelling. Morgan primarily serves as a consultant to plans and ideas of the Voting Body. He helps to shape them into resolutions that can be agreed on by all parties. Morgan was voted into his position during the April 1st full post-competition team vote. Prior to his election as Captain, Morgan served as a general support construction team member. He was the head of the team's driving during the practice season and competition. He drove the robot at competition in 2017.
POSITION
Team Captains work with each other and members of the Voting Body to keep the team true to its philosophical Mission and Vision. Team Captains are, in some cases, responsible for representing the entire team to administrative figures of authority. The Team Captain is a member of the Voting Body, along with all other Captainship level positions. Team Captains are also, in some cases, responsible for interfacing with longtime sponsors on behalf of the team, and the upkeep of sponsor relationships. The Team Captain is responsible for, reversely, representing the team's mentors to the Voting Body, and vice versa. Committee budgets are also the task of the Team Captainship. The Team Captainship like all other leadership members, is elected each April 1st in the full post-competition team vote. The Team Captain reports directly to the Lead Mentor and to any other school official.
